Priscila Meira has been totaly dedicated to Music and Literature the last 15 years. Popular composer, actress and poet, has studied theater, piano, popular guitar and music. Born in São Paulo, Brasil, for many years lived in Milan, Italy, where she wrote an important chapter in her artistical career: acted in many theater plays, continued to study vocal tecniques, created the Bossa & Jazz Baraca Band, was an interpreter of the traditional Brasilian Popular Music and registered her first album, Priscila Popular Brasileira, just new songs.
Back to Brasil on 2009, she lives and shows in Porto Alegre. Presented “Priscila Popular Brasileira” in many cultural events under Rafael Ferrari’s musical direction, received the premium for Best Lyrics at the Porto Alegre Music Festival for her song “Barraco” and has stablished a good partnership with great local performers. Usually invited to perform at musical and literature events.
“Alquimias do Amor” (Love’s Alchemies) has been inspirated by a show presented by Priscila Meira on 2012 at Meme’s Cultural Center.
